My Life

Time will slip from your hand,
So will your loved ones,
How much can you hold them,
They are free birds.
Countless wounds on my heart,
Thousand stories to be told,
Life is cruel, but this is my courage,
I laughed again.

Challenges I am not afraid of,
Every defeat I have taken on my face,
It’s not the people, they were there on my win,
But yes I have cried alone,
Got to be understood to face the world,
Life is a solitude,
But this is my courage,
I laughed again.

I walked on a sunny day,
Thousand miles,
Waited unmoved in shivery nights,
It rained and rained and rained,
Nobody could see the tears in my eyes,
Life is a season,
But this is my courage,
I laughed again.

Beyond the teaching of my mother,
It has taught me with pain,
With every mistake there was blood less lash,
An attempt to do it again,
I know how is feels,
I know its insane,
What a dupe, I did it again,
I laughed again.

Time will slip from your hand,
So will your loved ones,
How much can you hold them,
They are free birds.
Countless wounds on my heart,
Thousand stories to be told,
Life is cruel, but this is my courage,
I laughed again.
